On one of my family's recent trips to the World, I was overwhelmed just entering the EPCOT parking lot. The Food and Wine Festival was in full swing and the park was extremely crowded.
For many years we relied upon my memory to help us find our vehicle among all the others. It worked for a while.
Then we started spending ALL day in the parks, carrying kids, pushing strollers, lugging backpacks and it became more and more difficult to remember.
On one trip I witnessed another family taking pictures of the parking lot. I assumed he was just another D-freak like myself but what he was doing was really smart.
He was using his iPhone to take a picture of the parking lot name and aisle so that he wouldn't have to remember it!
Alright, so it wasn't exactly genius but it was an idea we adopted so we starting out taking pictures of the parking lot.
My parents just returned from a trip to the World and after finding a parking spot they used Spaceship Earth as their marker for where they parked. If you aren't aware, Spaceship Earth can be seen from about 2 miles away and isn't the most accurate way to navigate your way back to your car.
Take a picture!
